Why is changing your Air Filter Important. The Air Filter is important part of your Bike. The Filter traps Dirt and Debris from getting into the Motor during Rides. This could cause your bike to slow down and not start properly. Look at the steps below to learn how to change your air filter

Step 1:

Remove your Dirt Bike Seat (Most Air filter will be Located here) with a socket wrench.

Step 2:

Remove Wingnut that is holding the Filter in place. Take the Air Filter off the Support Cage gently.

Step 3:

Check and see if your filter can be Clean and Reused, some are to worn down to clean. If you need a New filter, you can Check your Owner Manul to see what type you need. If the filter is in decent conditions, you can soak the Filter in soapy water and Ring it out. Let it Dry for a Day or 2 (You want to make sure its Complete Dry). Apply a thin layer of Waterproof grease to the Filter, cover all areas .

Step 4:

The last step is too place the Air filter back into the bike , and make sure you align it properly . Make sure you tighten the Wingnut up and place the Seat back when you are finished. Start the Bike and give it a test drive !
